General Rules

  1. 1. The works submitted must be made by a single author or team of authors, and adapted to the expected content of the thematic of the International Meeting of Cooperatives, this means it must deal with any aspect related to the experiences of good practice or successful cooperatives, both in economic and social area, from around the world.

  2. 2. Registration in the contest is free and the limit deadline for the submission of the work ends on June 25, 2012.


  3. 3. To participate in the competition you should fill the registration form completely, and send your Poster or Photography in digital format to: info@cooperativas2012.coop


  4. 4. You may submit a maximum of 3 photos per author or team of authors.


  5. 5. You may submit a single  poster by author or team of authors, which should be accompanied by a written summary, with a minimum of two pages and a maximum of five pages in the format DIN-A4 in Word, in Arial font 12, double space .


  6. 6. The selection of finalists and decision of the winners, will be done through a mixed system, participated by technicians designated by the Consello Galego de Cooperativas (Galician Council of Cooperatives) which will assign 50% of the scores given to each work, the remaining 50% will be assigned by voting on the web page.

     

  7. 7. Those chosen as finalists will see their work featured in the exhibition of the International Meeting of Cooperatives of Santiago de Compostela and will receive bibliographic and promotional material from the Galician Council of Cooperatives. Winners will only be those works that reach the first, second and third place being recognized by the  Cooperative Meeting by receiving an award of distinction as winners, and  publishing the work in a  prominent place, both on the web page cooperativasdegalicia.com and in the Exhibition that will be held in the Cooperative Meeting.


  8. 8. Photographic work and posters that win will be displayed in the winners Cooperative Exhibition with the respective credits. They may also be used in different publications and materials printed by the Galician Council of Cooperatives. The author or authors expressly authorize the Galician Council of Cooperatives and the Government of free and non-profit use of the photographs and posters presented at the contest.
