Under the slogan "cooperative companies help building a better world", will be held in Santiago de Compostela an international meeting the 5th and 6th of July.
The meeting is part of the training and informative activities of the European Project COOPERA +, co-financed by the Program of Territorial Cooperation Programme Spain-Portugal 2007-2013, which aims to articulate measures that contribute to the promotion and consolidation of cooperatives in the Euro-region Galicia-North Portugal, in order to generate more and better jobs, by carrying out actions of counseling, training and information from different Galician and Portuguese agents linked to the promotion of cooperativism and the social economy.
In this encounter, experiences of good practice on economic and social aspects will be presented, in order to learn firsthand the different realities and approaches that are highlighted by the implementation of cooperative values that will allow to enrich the training and analysis of cooperatives, cooperative agents, technicians and scholars in general.
Other topics will be specifically discussed, like the lines of public and private action for the promotion of cooperatives in Galicia.
During the days of Thursday and Friday, the 5th and 6th of July, there will be speakers from different parts of the world, which will provide their particular view on the following topics:

• Cooperative Experiences in the field of social services.
• Cooperative Experience in the organization of associated labor.
• New ways of cooperation.
